Cancellation & Refund Policy

MGA Transfers and Tours Adventure

1. General Conditions

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all services provided by MGA Transfers and Tours Adventure, including private transfers, excursions, and tour packages in the Dominican Republic. By making a reservation, you agree to the conditions described below.

2. How to Cancel

All cancellation or change requests must be sent in writing through one of the following:

The effective time of cancellation will be the time at which MGA receives your written request.

3. Excursions & Day Tours

For regular excursions and one-day tours, the following policy applies:

Time before tour startRefund / Penalty
More than 48 hoursFull refund or credit, minus any non-refundable deposit or bank fees.
Between 24 and 48 hours50% refund of the total amount paid.
Less than 24 hours or no-showNo refund (100% penalty).

6. No-Show and Late Arrival

If the customer does not appear at the meeting point at the confirmed time and does not notify MGA, the booking will be considered a no-show. In case of no-show, no refund will be issued.

If you expect to be late, please contact MGA as soon as possible. Waiting time beyond the agreed limit may incur extra charges or service cancellation.

7. Cancellations by MGA / Force Majeure

If MGA must cancel a service due to weather conditions, safety issues, operational problems or force majeure events (such as storms, strikes, road closures or government restrictions), we will offer:

MGA is not responsible for additional costs such as flights, accommodation, meals or other expenses not booked directly with us.

8. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used at the time of booking, whenever possible, or via credit note. Banking or transaction fees may be deducted from the refund amount. Processing times may vary depending on banks or payment platforms.

9. Changes Instead of Cancellation

In many cases, changing the date or time of your service is possible and may be a better option than cancelling. MGA will do its best to accommodate changes, subject to availability and possible price differences.
